@pixelgraphix @bueltge rein theoretisch gibt es noch die Möglichkeit, über eine Blindenschriftdruckerei den Brief übersetzen zu lassen. Aber das ist ähnlich viel Aufwand wie der Dienst Blindenbrief.

@manton should the alt text also apply to when posts get federated to followers on Mastodon? I just saw this post federated to Mastodon, not crossposted, and the alt text definitely didn't come through there. Verified this on two accounts.
@vincent Thank you for looking into it! The menu item for Mentions reads something like "Conversations Mentions" or such. And yeah, the spot at the top left that is the menu button is currently silent when tapping it once with VoiceOver on. As is the big area that closes the menu when double-tapped.
@manton A few observations from a VoiceOver user: 1. The menu button isn’t labeled and doesn’t have button traits. 2. Same goes for the Close item in said menu. 3. The items in the menu have funny names, two words per item, like synonyms.
@help Well, yes, after a few hours, the follow succeeded. The posts eventually also showed up on Mastodon in the following account's timeline. Since then, the speed definitely has improved, and now new posts are federated quickly.
@yatil @fedbysandrine Agree with you, Eric. I personally use different methods. On single post/article pages, I usually try to jump to the first h1 directly without bothering with landmarks or skip links. In a web app like Gmail, I use the skip link at the top to get to the list of conversations straight away.
@jean Yes, or better wording. I sometimes get a little ahead of myself in thoughts, and this allows me to go back and include more context if necessary. I am autistic, and sometimes forget that not everybody might be at the same junction in a thought process automatically.
@jean I just used this feature, and it is way cool. I love the conversation-centric approach.
@yatil fascinating, I didn‘t know that you could swap these mechanics easily. I would like to hear the finalized keyboard.
@yatil interesting. I wonder how noisy these keyboards are. I am quite sensitive to keyboard noises, that's why I like MacBook keyboards so much, and many of the ones Logitech builds. Will be curious to hear your experiences.
@jean Thank you very much! A lot has changed and been improved since I checked out micro.blog last. Really great to see, and good to be back.
@help I was trying to follow my micro.blog user from my Mastodon account. First thing I noticed: The user name is case sensitive. Second, no posts appeared in the profile view. Third: when I clicked Follow, I was told that a follow request had been sent. I am confused.
@sod thank you! 😁
@rom thank you! ActivityPub is enabled for me already, since this is a new account. So I‘m all set, it seems. 😉
